Westminster Abbey, London, United Kingdom

Westminster Abbey is a remarkable Gothic church located in the heart of London. It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the United Kingdom. It was used for coronations, burials and between 1540 and 1556 it had a status of a cathedral. Nowadays it's no longer an Abbey nor a Cathedral. It's now known as the Church of England "Royal Peculiar"

Right behind the altar is the most sacred spot in the Abbey - the shrine of St Edward the Confessor.
