Villa Borghese gardens, Rome, Italy

Villa Borghese Gardens is one of the largest public parks in Rome. It is made in English style. In 1605 Cardinal Borghese started reconstruction of the vineyard remains of the former gardens of Lucullus of the Roman Republic.

World Exhibition of 1911 was here and you can still see buildings since then. Most notable is the English pavilion designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens.

One entrance to the gardens is from the Spanish Steps, and the other is from Piazza del Popolo. At the south side of park is revealed one of the best views of Rome.
