La Boca is a neighborhood in Buenos Aires historically linked to the Italian city of Genoa. It is located in the southern part of town near the old port. La Boca is famous for its colorful houses made of wood and tin and also for its pedestrian streets. The most famous street is Caminito where there are many souvenir shops and performances of tango dancers. Here is located the theater La Ribela that stores pictures of Benito Quinquela Martín. La Boca neighborhood is home of La Bombonera stadium and the famous club Boca Hunios used also as a concert venue.

Going to La Boca you'll feel like a time traveller. The neighborhood still retains its old Genoese look and you can still hear people talking the Genoese dialect. La Boca is a very popular destination for tourists going to Buenos Aires. It's well known for its colorful houses, pedestrian streets, little shops and restaurants.
